Educated at St Andrews and Manchester Universities, he qualified in 1994 and gained FRCS (Plast) in 2006. With an MPhil in wound healing, he combines research-based expertise with personalised patient care at the Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
